Calgary Arts Development is commited to implementing actions to meet the needs identified by the arts community at the first annual Arts Champions Congress. In response to the overwhelming desire for the community to convene and collaborate, we have established three formal networks to give individuals and organizations the opportunity to converse and share ideas and best practices. The Arts Champions Congress also highlighted a need within the community to access knowledge and expertise around the business of art, including marketing, resource development, board governance, human resources, IT, etc. In response, Calgary Arts Development will launch the Executive-in-Residence pilot program.
